A Writers Workshop

Please register by May 23 2026. We do need a minimum of ten people for this workshop to  take place. 

A graduate of the University of Ottawa in French Literature and Education specializing in French second language, Michèle Vinet has long worked in the field of education. During her career she  provided many professional training courses across Canada. 

Her writing career began in retirement. Her five books have garnered 12 nominations, four awards, the prestigious Ontario Trilllium Awards and a Professional Excellence award from the University of Ottawa. She has been invited to donate her manuscripts and old workbooks to the archives of the university's research Centre on Canadian francophonies for preservation and study. Her next book, on her experience in the penitentiary and mental health systems is coming in September.

If you park in the large parking lot to the east of the school, enter the school using the doors on the far right side. Go up the stairs and walk to the end of the hallway. Room 102 is in the NW corner.
